Lily's baptism
Lily's baptism was a great day. We had lots of family sleeping under one roof. Grandpa Sorensen, Uncle Lance, Aunt Jennefer, Sophie, Avery, Uncle Reed, Aunt Chelsea, Patrick, Grandma Ruth, Grandpa Jack and my family were tucked away in almost every corner of our place. I apologize for those who got stuck with the floor. Lily was super excited and had some specific instructions. She wanted family to be in program and a brunch after to celebrate. Here are the highlights. The day was so busy we did not take as many pictures as we should have.
A funny moment with Lily 2 days after her baptism....
Lily asked, "Mom, do you think I have sinned yet?"
I said, " I don't think so"
Lily said, "Me neither. I have made it 2 days without sinning and I am pretty sure I can make it a 3rd."
I have noticed in these last couple of months that Lily has really been trying to make better decisions. She has been more responsible with her chores and just more helpful in general. We have been talking about getting ready to be 8 for a while and I think she really was trying. So, all in all for Lily it has been great to be eight.

It looks like you guys had a great day. I wish Paige took being 8 more seriously. I try and build it up and she say, "Mom... it's not a big deal... it's only 8" I'm like... oh great!
