Ladies and Gentlemen..... we have a winner!

So, after many months of looking we have found a house. We are just waiting on a couple of paperwork issues and then we will close.
It has been a long process that has reminded me a lot of dating. We have gone on more first dates than I can count (showings), kissed a couple (put in contracts), had a crush that never went anywhere (short sale), a little heartache over a break-up (lost a bidding war) but in the end I hope we have found our prince. This particular prince still needs some TLC so I will post some before and after pics later. Wish us luck.

We wish you all the best with your new adventure. Did you sell your home here in Denver? The other day I was cleaning out things and I found a decorating room book that belongs to you. Give me an address where to send it and I will get it sent out to you. How else are things going.

Yeah! Congratulations and I hope everything goes well. Love the comparison to dating- so true.

I also love the comparison to dating. The ups and downs are awful! I'm glad you finally found something. Congratulations!

My first words were literally, "HOLY CRAP!" I now know why it pays to get an education. (I should have studied harder in school so I could work in the Alien Breeding Program too. The most I can do with my degree is make the kids feel better about coming from a "bi-cultural" family background) So totally congrats on the house. We to understand the dating analogy... the problem is that we are the fat bald girl and we are trying to go to prom without putting out. So wish us luck that our cousin from Kansas can come in town to take us. Ohh the shame.

Your brother can get a job as a stand up comic. Seriously, he is hilarious! Congratulations. Can't wait to see it in November.

Really, are you sure? Are you really sure this is the one? I'll believe it at closing --- I just don't think your dating years are over --- not quite yet anyways.

Like the saying goes "It's a girls (buyers) prerogative to change her mind."

Stacy- Love the house! So, is this the one? Where is it? Megan said she got a cute e-mail from you - thank you. She really misses you and loves to hear from you with updates on how everyone is doing. Any chance you'll be staying in the ward? I'll be anxious to hear where you end up. Good luck with everything!
