We have had a great start to our Holiday Season. Grandma Ruth and Grandpa Jack came to visit for almost 2 weeks. We saw some sights, cooked up our usual fantastic Thanksgiving Feast and just hung out together. We were sad to see them go and look forward to their next visit soon.
This winter has been colder than normal (just my luck) but I am told that the Dogwoods and Cherry trees bloom by March so I just need to hang on.
We are solo for Christmas this year and it has been fun coming up with a new holiday schedule of events. Here is what we have so far..
1. Party at our house the first night of Christmas break
2. See lights at the DC temple
3. Visit the National Christmas Tree
4. Enjoy a couple of Smithsonian's over break
My number one goal this year is to not stay up late on Christmas Eve with last minute prep. So, wish me luck (or just proper planning).
I hope you are all busy wrapping and sneaking around planning surprises for people you love. Have a great Holiday.

Oh Stacy, I can't wait until we can spend Thanksgiving together again. Hopefully sooner rather than later.
Your holiday events sound dreamy! We are keeping our holidays really low key this year but your schedule is making me really jealous!
