Jack and his Dad caught this snake as we were going on a walk in our neighborhood. I just about stepped on it and had a heart attack. Jack and Lily wanted to bring it home, but the last wild snake we brought home was an escape artist and I just couldn't bring myself to say yes.

What can I say? Jack got that from his dad, and his dad got it from one of his parents -- and it wasn't me!!
Stacy - I WOULD DIE! ooohhh that gives me the creeps - almost stepping on a snake. yikes.
I can handle snakes when I know where they are at all times. I surprise visit? I would FREAK! "Snakes on a plane" would be my worst nightmare.
I remember staying at Paul's house once, and after a day or so found out there was a snake on the loose! AAAH! He found the snake soon after, I think. I remember watching "The Towering Inferno" on this visit too.
